PROJECT LAYOUT & INFRASTRUCTURE

The layout for a nine turbine wind farm at Roos was evolved from studies and input from experienced engineering and technical teams within RES. The layout has also taken into account what we have learnt from carrying out an environmental impact assessment on the site.

Each wind turbine has a maximum output of 1.9MW, and measures 126.5m to the tip of the blade. The wind farm also includes supporting infrastructure including on-site tracks and a control room.
